Zheng Chen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and engineering. Starting as a Web Developer at the Association of New Canadians in 2008, Zheng progressed to a Research Assistant role at Washington University in St. Louis until 2015, culminating in a Ph.D. in Computer Science. Zheng interned at IBM in 2014, focusing on social network analytics. Zheng joined Meta in April 2019 as a Research Scientist and later became a Research Scientist Manager, eventually assuming the role of Director of Engineering in March 2025. Zheng holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Electronic Science and Technology and furthered education at Memorial University of Newfoundland.
