Ziwei Zhou

Ziwei Zhou, Ph.D., has a diverse background in machine learning, natural language processing, and language education. Experience includes roles as a Machine Scoring Consultant at Language, where leadership of a multidisciplinary team focused on automated scoring for ACTFL assessments, and a Summer Intern in NLP at ETS, fine-tuning BERT models for speech scoring. Additionally, Ziwei contributed to education as an ESL instructor at New Oriental Education & Technology Group and later at On Lok Social Service Center for Seniors. In recent roles as a Learning Engineer at Edmentum and a Machine Learning Engineer at TalkingPoints, responsibilities have included developing machine learning models and infrastructure for data analysis.
