Ankit Kumar is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and advertising technologies. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering for Creative Automation & GenAI at Meta since 2025, Ankit directs efforts in Ads Creatives Automation and the integration of generative AI in advertising. Prior to this role, Ankit spent three years as the Director of Engineering for Responsible Ads Experiences at Meta, focusing on developing responsible and privacy-safe AI for ad delivery while overseeing a team of approximately 100 engineers. Ankit's previous experience at Google included a nine-year tenure as a Senior Staff Software Engineer and Senior Engineering Manager, leading initiatives in Shopping Ads Delivery across major platforms like YouTube and Gmail. Ankit's early experience also includes a research internship at Microsoft, investigating data deduplication methods. Ankit holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
