Dan R. has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and technology. In their most recent role at Metabase Q, they served as the Chief Offensive Security Officer. Prior to that, Dan worked at NIO as the Smart Cars Red Team Lead. Dan also held positions at Palo Alto Networks as a Sr Principal Security Researcher and at Numen Inc as the CTO & Co-Founder. Additionally, Dan gained valuable experience as a Principal Security Researcher at ZingBox Inc. and as the Manager of Research Science at FireEye, Inc. Dan started their career at Symantec as a Malware Analyst, Reverse Engineer, and Security Researcher. Dan also worked at N2NetSecurity In as a Senior Security Analyst and at Bridgestone in a similar role. Their earlier experience includes being a Vulnerability Testing Leader at Syntel at FedEx World Tech Center. Throughout their career, Dan has obtained a range of skills in penetration testing, malware analysis, vulnerability research, and IoT security.

Dan R. completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the Universidad Tecnológica de México between 1996 and 2000. In 2004, they pursued a specialization in Information Security at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, earning the title of Information Security Specialist, focusing on CISSP CBK Domains.
