Hank Capps

Hank Capps, MD FAAFP, is a healthcare executive and venture builder who serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Information and Digital Officer at Wellstar Health System and as President and Co-Founder of Catalyst by Wellstar. They lead Catalyst's $100M top-quartile innovation fund and venture company and oversee a cross-industry ecosystem for commercialization and growth. They currently serve on the boards of Terrarium (Board of Advisors), Engage (Executive Board), Betty's Co. (Board of Directors), Metaimpact (Board of Directors), FortyAU (Board of Directors), and Polysight (Board of Directors). Earlier in their career, they held multiple senior leadership roles at Novant Health from 2017 to 2019, including Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Physician Network, Senior Vice President and Chief Digital Health and Engagement Officer, Senior Vice President Physician Services Medical Group, Chief Medical Information Officer Medical Group, Physician, and Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Medical Group. They earned an MD from The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University and a BS in Biology from Campbell University.
