Julia Grubbs

Julia Grubbs has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Julia'smost recent role is as a Solution Consultant at MetaCX, where they began in January 2023. In 2022, they participated as a Brand Ambassador for Breaking Into Tech: Pre-Sales & Tech Sales, a live series highlighting unconventional professionals who have successfully entered tech sales careers. Additionally, Julia became a member of PreSales Collective, a professional community, in August 2022. Prior to entering the tech industry, they worked as a Sales Engineer at Careerist from August to October 2022.

Before transitioning into tech sales, Julia spent several years in the education sector. Julia worked at the Racine Unified School District as an E-Learning Creator, Curriculum Writer, and Educator for over a decade, from July 2011 to June 2022. Julia also held a position at Hillside School/Lakeview Specialty Hospital and Rehab as a Curriculum Designer and Educator from September 2010 to June 2011.

In their earlier career, Julia gained experience in therapy and social services roles. Julia worked as an Outpatient Therapist at Professional Services Group/Community Impact Programs, primarily at Hillcrest School, from January 2005 to May 2010. Prior to that, Julia served as an Ongoing Case Manager at the Bureau of Milwaukee Child Welfare from July 2004 to January 2005. Julia began their career as a Therapist for the START Program at North Suffolk Mental Health from June 2002 to May 2004.

Julia Grubbs earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology/Human Services from Edgewood College in the years 1996 to 2000. Julia then pursued a Master's degree in Social Work, specializing in Children, Youth, and Families, at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2000 to 2002.

In 2010 to 2011, Julia obtained a Teacher Certification in Special Education and Teaching from Carthage College. Continuing their education, they completed a Master of Arts degree in Mathematics Teacher Education from Western Governors University between 2014 and 2019.
