Metadata Inc. is a company that supports client businesses in launching new ventures using artificial intelligence, helping them solve their problems.

Founded in December 2005 as a software company applying metadata utilization and semantic technologies, we have developed SaaS and cloud-based applications leveraging our meaning analysis technology powered by the adaptive natural language processing engine "Metaparser". This includes capabilities such as content integration through 5W1H extraction, automatic anonymization of personal information, reputation analysis (sentiment and emotion analysis), rumor detection and monitoring solutions, and web dialogue robots.

More recently, we have built analytics and matching engines that draw on our accumulated AI research to support social media marketing. Our "Web Receptionist" dialogue robot can automatically send documents and book appointments on Google Calendar, making websites more approachable and IT easier to use.

On March 11, 2015, we shifted our focus toward developing AI-based business systems aimed at improving operational accuracy, with the launch of our VoC (Voice of the Customer) Analysis AI Server. Our work goes beyond typical deep learning or so-called AI algorithms — we also apply machine learning in ways that align closely with human knowledge structures. Additionally, we utilize graph theory not only for social graphs but also for large-scale matching tasks such as trade orders and job-to-talent matching, enabling optimization at a scale beyond human capability.

We continue to improve the accuracy and coverage of emotion analysis and other technologies we’ve been working on, offering SaaS solutions that meet advanced management analysis needs, especially centered on VoC analysis. To stay at the forefront, our in-house scientists also provide expert analytical services.
