Sev Bazil

Sev Bazil has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. They co-founded and currently hold the role of Chief Operating Officer at Metalex Commodities Inc., a commodity trading firm that links African metal commodities to global markets. Additionally, Bazil serves as a Board Member at the same company. Prior to their current role, they worked at IHS Markit as an Associate Director, focusing on FX Sales and providing solutions throughout the trading lifecycle. They primarily worked with UK Tier 1 Banks and regional banks across Europe. Before that, Bazil held positions at Openlink Financial as an EMEA Sales Executive and at Brady PLC as a Sales Executive. They also have experience in the legal field, having worked as a Senior Paralegal at Neumans LLP and as a Paralegal Intern at Penguin Books Ltd.

Sev Bazil earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (Hons) degree in Law from City, University of London, from the year 2008 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Sev has obtained two additional certifications. In September 2018, Sev acquired the ACI UK DEALING SIMULATION certification from ACI UK. More recently, in May 2020, Sev obtained a certification in Sales Forecasting from LinkedIn.
