Eric Simms has extensive experience in sales and management roles. Eric started their career at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, where they served as a District Sales/Service Manager, overseeing the operations of 18+ dealerships. Eric then moved to the role of Powertrain Customer Advocate, working closely with Powertrain Engineering to diagnose and resolve quality issues in the field. Eric also served as a Supplier Quality Specialist, monitoring and managing component suppliers for powertrain and driveline systems.
In 2007, Simms joined The Timken Company as a Sales Engineer Specialist, responsible for managing steel sales to industrial/energy customers. Eric then transitioned to TimkenSteel Corporation, where they held various positions, including Regional Sales Manager, Senior Manager Global Sales - Industrial, and Global Account Manager. In these roles, they managed domestic and international steel sales, developed new business, and ensured customer satisfaction.
Throughout their career, Simms has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a focus on profitability, customer service, and quality.
Eric Simms completed their Bachelor's degree in Automotive Management at Ferris State University from 1995 to 1998. Eric then pursued further education at Lawrence Technological University, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Operations Management (Industrial) from 2003 to 2005.
