Jerom Root

Jerom Root is a skilled Nuke Compositor with extensive experience in the visual effects industry, currently working at Metaphysic.ai since July 2023 on notable features such as "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga" and "Alien: Romulus." Prior to this role, Jerom freelanced from May 2019 and worked at RISE | Visual Effects Studios from May 2022 to July 2023, contributing to major projects including "Shazam! Fury of the Gods" and "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever." Additional experiences include positions at TRIXTER, ColorOffOn, Platige Image, Mackevision, and MPC, encompassing both compositing work and on-set VFX supervision. Jerom holds a Master’s Degree in Visual Effects Production from Escape Studios and a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Film Making from SAE Institute Hamburg.
