Jan Heilmann

Jan Heilmann currently serves as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Helmut-Schmidt-Universität/Universität der Bundeswehr Hamburg since August 2024, and as a Consultant at Metaplan since April 2021, previously holding the role of Junior Consultant. Prior experience includes working as a Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft at Bielefeld University from November 2020 to July 2023, contributing to a DFG project focused on the organizational implications of digitalization. Jan held an internship at Deutsche Bahn from November 2018 to March 2019 in the company’s organizational structure, and also participated in an internship with AIESEC in August 2015, organizing and moderating a cultural exchange project. Jan completed a Master of Arts in Sociology at Bielefeld University from October 2019 to September 2023 and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the same university from October 2014 to September 2019, with an additional semester abroad at Saint Petersburg State University in 2016-2017.
