Kai Matthiesen

Kai Matthiesen is a Managing Partner at Metaplan since December 2001, where expertise is provided in addressing complex organizational challenges. In addition, Kai Matthiesen serves as a Lecturer in Organizational Sociology and Digital Transformation at the University of St.Gallen since September 2001, and previously taught Organizational Leadership at HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration from February 2011 to January 2021. Earlier career experiences include managing director roles at AltaVista and Matthiesen Group, a directorial position at Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA overseeing Direct Marketing for France Loisirs, and business analysis at Booz Allen Hamilton. Kai Matthiesen holds a PhD in Business Ethics from the University of St.Gallen and a Diplom-Kaufmann in Business Administration and Management from Universität Passau.
