Michael A. has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Michael currently works as a Professional Services Engineer at MetaSource since February 2020. Prior to this, they were a Project Manager at Covius from June to December 2019.

From 2004 to 2018, Michael worked at Xerox / Conduent as a Systems Development Principal, where they gained expertise in Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, Business Analysis, Oracle RDBMS Design/Development, C# Development, Reporting, Imaging, Document Processing, Cost Estimating, and ETL. Michael worked with numerous mortgage banking clients, specializing in mortgage document imaging and processing.

Before that, they worked as a Consultant at EMC Mortgage in 2003. From 1999 to 2003, they held the position of Senior Developer at Lend Lease REI and AMRESCO / Lend Lease, where they wrote database and front-end software for various commercial mortgage projects using Visual Basic, Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access, and ASP.

In 1997, Michael worked as a Developer at Revenue Technology Services, focusing on data extracts and conversions from airline and cruise line reservation systems. Michael also managed Novell and Windows Networks and built and maintained mail servers.

Earlier in their career, they worked as a Computer Hardware Sales/Technician at Starion Computer Systems from 1994 to 1997. Michael also served as a QA Optical and Mechanical Inspector at Litton from 1992 to 1994 and at IMO Varo/Optic Electronic Corporation from 1989 to 1992. In these roles, they inspected optics, optical assemblies, and machine parts per military specifications, interpreted military drawings, and conducted optical spectral testing using turbo basic.

Michael A. completed their education at The University of Texas at Dallas from 1995 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. Prior to that, they attended Richland Community College from 1988 to 1995 and received an Associate of Applied Science degree, though the field of study is unknown. In addition to their formal education, Michael has also obtained several certifications over the years, including an AppWorks Platform Developer certification from OpenText in February 2023, a Kofax TotalAgility certification from Kofax in March 2020, a PMP® Certification Training Course from Project Management Academy in April 2019, and a Certified Running Coach certification from the Road Runners Club of America in November 2010.
