Dr. Steve Cathey

Dr. Steve Cathey is currently the Director at METC Engineering (Pty) Ltd, where they lead a responsive team in designing and building metallurgical process plants. They have extensive experience in project and study management, having previously served as Senior Project Manager and Head of Department at Tharisa Minerals, managing the largest single producing Chromite plant in South Africa. Dr. Cathey holds a PhD in Engineering Management from the University of Johannesburg, as well as a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field. Their career reflects a commitment to enhancing the work experience for their team members.
