Maxxfield Smith is a Software Engineer at METECS since May 2023 and an intern at NASA since May 2022. Previously, Maxxfield worked as a Unity Developer on a grant project to design a Virtual Laboratory Environment for the Microbiology Department at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, and also served as a Computer Science tutor at the same institution. Earlier experience includes working as a Delivery Driver for Domino’s Store Jobs, handling petrochemical samples at AmSpec Group, and serving as an Assistant Electrician at Stoever-Parker Electric. Maxxfield holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and an Associate of Science degree in Mathematics from San Jacinto College.
