Michael Ruiz

Michael Ruiz is a Senior Systems Engineer at METECS, currently working on the Gateway/Artemis program at NASA. They previously held roles at Northrop Grumman as a System Engineer and at Medtronic, where they led a CAPA remediation team impacting patient care. Michael's research experience includes positions as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Johns Hopkins Hospital and The Johns Hopkins University, as well as a Researcher at North Carolina State University, where they spearheaded significant DoD SBIR project efforts. Michael Ruiz earned a Master's degree in Material Science and Engineering and a Graduate Certificate in Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialization from North Carolina State University, following a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science from The Johns Hopkins University.
