Julia Schmoeckel

Julia Schmoeckel is a skilled meteorologist with extensive experience in client management and project oversight. Currently serving as a Meteorologist and Client Manager at Meteomatics since November 2022, Julia previously held the position of Key Account Manager for Energy at UBIMET from November 2017 to October 2022. Prior roles include Project Manager and R&D Scientist at EWC Weather Consult GmbH, where Julia contributed to the development of wind and solar power forecasts from September 2010 to November 2017. Julia's earlier career includes roles as Sachbearbeiter and weather consultant at EWC Weather Consult GmbH and as a software developer at Jürgen Lang, Datenservice. Julia holds a Doctorate in Meteorology and a Diplom in Meteorology, both from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
