Bethany Smith

Bethany Smith is an experienced educator and curriculum specialist with extensive background in teaching and curriculum design. Beginning as a teacher at Denver Public Schools from August 2009 to May 2013, Bethany worked with diverse student populations and contributed to various committees, including the School Leadership Team and the Discipline Committee. As a Curriculum Coordinator, significant achievements included management of a $7 million grant and designing career pathway courses. In roles such as Senior Academic Designer and Lead Social Studies Curriculum Specialist, Bethany focused on instructional design, educator coaching, and resource management, leading to increased professional learning satisfaction and implementation rates. Additional experience includes teaching assistant and research assistant roles prior to full-time teaching. Bethany holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Wheaton College and a Master's in Curriculum of Instruction from the University of Colorado Denver. Currently, Bethany serves as a Learning Environment Specialist at Meteor Education and has experience in group fitness instruction and adjunct faculty roles.
