Cutting methane emissions is widely recognized as the fastest way to slow the rate of rising global temperatures, and we have solutions to cut human-made emissions in half. However, implementation of methane emissions solutions lags far behind ambition to mitigate climate change.*

The Methane Mitigation Council (MMC) convenes providers of methane emissions solutions to make it easier to exchange knowledge and insights, as well as identify and problem-solve shared challenges. We also raise awareness for methane solutions to broaden stakeholder support and increase momentum for deployment.

As a charitable organization, we work 100% in service of the greater good and the public interest. We work with (not for) commercial businesses and nonprofit organizations that provide solutions to cut methane emissions, building community for faster deployment of proven strategies, interventions and solutions.

Mission: to speed up deployment of methane mitigation solutions - the fastest way to slow climate change.

Vision: a world in which methane mitigation solutions are fully deployed, and we've bent the curve on rising global temperatures.
