Malcolm Horne

Malcolm Horne, CPA, CA, is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in various roles within prominent organizations. Currently serving as CFO of Egyptian Methanex Methanol Company S.A.E. at Methanex Corporation since September 2016, Malcolm has led significant projects such as the global ERP replacement initiative and the implementation of Oracle Cloud Financials. Prior roles include Manager of Tax, Transfer Pricing and Treasury, where responsibilities included overseeing US tax team establishment and coordinating state tax audits. Previous experience encompasses roles at CMLS Financial as Finance Manager and at KPMG Canada as Senior Accountant, tackling complex financial issues including multicurrency consolidations and revenue recognition. Malcolm holds a Chartered Accountant designation from CPA Canada and a BCom in Accounting from The University of British Columbia, complemented by an exchange program at UNSW.
