Mark Allard

Mark Allard leads the Global Market Development and the Corporate Sustainability teams, through the Low Carbon Solutions function. He is responsible for assessing opportunities to decrease carbon emissions from the existing plant portfolio and to develop new markets for low-carbon methanol. Since joining Methanex in 1996, he has worked in numerous global locations and held a variety of progressively senior roles in Global Marketing & Logistics, Corporate Development, and Manufacturing. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Allard was the Vice President of North America Manufacturing, responsible for the Geismar and Medicine Hat manufacturing locations.

Mr. Allard holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of British Columbia.
