Michael Nims

Michael Nims is an experienced professional in the chemical manufacturing industry, currently serving as the Plant Manager at Methanex Corporation since January 2019, overseeing the Methanol Manufacturing Plant in Damietta, Egypt. Prior to this role, Michael held various leadership positions, including Director of Manufacturing & Supply Chain at Halliburton's Multi-Chem, Superintendent at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company, and Plant Manager for both Petrochemical Conversion Company Ltd. and Champion Technologies. Michael's extensive background also includes operational and engineering roles at Phillips 66 and the Mason & Hanger Pantex Plant. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and a Master of Business Administration from West Texas A&M University.
