Rita Lai

Rita Lai, CPA, is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in financial analysis and reporting. Currently serving as a Senior Financial Analyst at Methanex Corporation since April 2020, Rita has previously held positions as a Senior Reporting Analyst and Financial Reporting Analyst at the same company. Prior to Methanex, Rita worked at Seaspan Corporation as a Financial Reporting Analyst. Rita's career began at Grant Thornton LLP (Canada), where positions included Senior Accountant in Assurance and Accountant in Advisory from May 2015 to November 2018. Additionally, Rita contributed as a Teaching Assistant at Saint Mary's University from May 2014 to August 2016. Rita holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from Saint Mary's University, completed in October 2016.
