Simar Sandhu

Simar Sandhu, CPA, has extensive experience in accounting and finance, currently serving as a Senior Marine Accountant at Methanex Corporation since July 2019, alongside previous roles as Marine Accountant and Accounting Assistant in the same organization. Prior experiences include serving as a Cost Accountant at Gizella Pastry Limited, a Junior Accountant at Polaris Materials Corporation, and various positions at H&R Block, where responsibilities included tax preparation and assessment. Sandhu began a finance career with an Accounts Receivable CO-OP position at Heli-One and further developed skills in tax and customer service roles at H&R Block and McDonald's Canada. Simar Sandhu obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Kwantlen Polytechnic University and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada, with certification completed between 2020 and May 2022.
