Simon Martin

Simon Martin's work experience begins in 2004 at Proformac Technologies, where they served as a Hardware Technician/Sales representative. In this role, they handled sales and technical support for small businesses and home users, including hardware and software repair and networking setup. From 2006 to 2015, they worked at AdvantageNZ as a Technical Consultant, specializing in sales and product management of server and storage products. In 2015, they joined Methanex Corporation as an IT Service Analyst and later advanced to the roles of Systems Analyst and Senior Systems Analyst, focusing on system analysis and support. Since 2022, Simon has been serving as the Global Cybersecurity Lead, Technical at Methanex Corporation, where they are responsible for the technical aspects of the company's cybersecurity program. This includes providing technical guidance, managing security product and service selection, and planning and implementing IT security systems.

Simon Martin attended Francis Douglas Memorial College from 1997 to 2003, where they completed their high school education.
