EVP Of Narrative And Thought Leadership at Method Communications

Tim Race has a diverse range of work experience spanning several decades. Tim began their career in 1990 at The New York Times as a Business & Technology Editor and Writer. During their time there, they managed teams of editors and reporters, overseeing coverage that received awards and Pulitzer Prize nominations. Tim also served as the European Business Editor for four years.

In 2017, Tim Race joined FleishmanHillard as a Senior Vice President, where they provided strategic media counsel and content development for major corporate clients. Tim was responsible for writing speeches and executive bylines for external placement, as well as creating the FH Story Board, which consisted of freelance journalists who produced content for clients.

In 2019, Tim Race joined IBM as an Editor for the IBM Content Hub. Tim assigned, wrote, and edited owned content for the IBM News Room, as well as executive bylines for external placement. Tim supervised a team of writers and editors and managed project management for major initiatives.

In 2021, Tim Race took on the role of Managing Member at TDR Media LLC. Currently, they hold the position of SVP of Narrative and Thought Leadership at Method Communications, where they started in April 2021.

Tim Race completed their Bachelor of Philosophy in Interdisciplinary Studies at Miami University from 1974 to 1978. Tim then pursued further education at Bowling Green State University, where they obtained their Master of Arts in Popular Culture from 1978 to 1980. Following this, Tim attended American University in Washington from 1983 to 1984, earning a Master of Arts in Journalism and Public Affairs.
