Dimitris Gkoumas

Dimitris Gkoumas is a research scientist specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and multimodal representation learning. They served as a Marie Curie Research Fellow at The Open University from 2017 to 2020 and have held positions as a senior software developer and AI consultant. Dimitris has also conducted research as a visiting scholar at several prestigious institutions, including Università degli Studi di Padova and the University of Montreal. Currently, they hold the position of Staff AI/ML Scientist at Method and continue their research endeavors. Dimitris earned a PhD in Deep Multimodal Representation Learning from The Open University and holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Machine Learning.
