Lauren Egerton is a seasoned data engineer currently serving as a Sr. Data Engineer at Method since January 2025. Prior to this role, Lauren held positions at Eduworks Corporation, progressing from Data Engineer to Senior Data Engineer from March 2019 to December 2024, and briefly served as Director of Data Engineering at THIA in 2024. Lauren began a career in technology as a Junior QA Analyst at e180, where responsibilities included writing and executing test plans and performing various types of testing. Earlier experience includes instructing multiple foreign languages to international K-12 students from 2004 to 2013. Lauren holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Oregon State University, a Bachelor's Degree in French and Latin from Oberlin College, and a Master's Degree in Foreign Language Teacher Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, along with a study abroad experience in French at Université de Montpellier Paul-Valéry.
