Diego Fuchs has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Diego started their career in 2006 at NADA Fashion Designs, where they worked as an Assistant Designer. During their time there, they collaborated with the creative director to develop seasonal collections. Diego also managed a team and handled Gerber Pattern Design processes.

In 2010, Diego joined HELDER DIEGO as a Creative Director. As one of the co-founders, they played a key role in designing the brand identity, product assortment, and marketing materials. Diego established a Design System with brand standards and conducted sales presentations to stakeholders, leading to increased product buy-ins and sales growth.

Diego also worked at Ranka Enterprises Inc. from 2010 to 2022 as a Senior Product Designer. Diego guided design teams in creating seasonal collections for national retailers. Through quantitative consumer research, they ensured design needs were aligned with user preferences, resulting in average seasonal sales growth of 15-20%. Diego managed teams and delivered trend-driven designs based on sales key performance indicators (KPIs).

Additionally, Diego gained teaching experience at Toronto Film School, starting in 2016. As an Instructor in the Fashion Design Department, they led courses in Computer Aided Pattern Drafting and Sketching, Garment Construction, and Graduate Thesis Design. Diego developed new curriculum for an online learning course, increasing the completion rate. Diego also coached students in creating their Brand Identities and Thesis collections.

Most recently, Diego joined Method:CRM in 2022 as a Junior Product Designer.

Diego Fuchs has a diverse education history spanning various fields. In 1999, they completed their diploma in Music Major - Claude Watson Arts Program at Earl Haig Secondary School. From 2003 to 2005, Diego pursued their interest in fashion design, earning a diploma from the International Academy of Design. In 2021, they commenced a certificate program in UX/UI Design at the University of Toronto, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
