Amy Bodwell

Amy Bodwell has a strong background in finance and accounting. Amy started their career at Ernst & Young, where they served as an Audit Staff, Audit Senior, and Audit Manager. During their time there, they planned, executed, and led audits for both public and private companies. Amy also prepared financial statements and coordinated SEC filings.

After leaving Ernst & Young, Amy joined Methodist Richardson Medical Center as a Controller. In this role, they oversaw general accounting, payroll, and accounts payable for multiple entities. Amy also managed financial reporting and analysis to various boards and committees.

Amy then advanced to the position of Vice President of Finance at Methodist Richardson Medical Center. In this role, they were responsible for the development and oversight of the hospital's operating budget. Amy worked closely with the administrative team and support departments to evaluate the performance of service lines and ensure operational effectiveness.

Most recently, Amy joined Methodist Health System as the Senior Vice President of Finance / Corporate Controller. Amy'sresponsibilities include coordinating the system's budget program, performing financial analyses and reviews, and reporting financial data to administration and corporate finance.

Amy Bodwell has a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma - Price College of Business, which they obtained from 1999 to 2000. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the same institution, from 1995 to 1999. In addition to their academic qualifications, they hold certifications such as Certified Revenue Cycle Representative from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) in 2018, Certified in Resolute Hospital Billing Revenue Integrity from Epic in 2016, and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
