David P. Mason

David P. Mason, MD, is a seasoned thoracic surgeon with over 30 years of experience, focusing on lung transplantation, minimally invasive surgery, and oncology. They held prominent positions at prestigious institutions such as Johns Hopkins, Cleveland Clinic, and Baylor University Medical Center, where they served as Chief of Thoracic Surgery and Lung Transplantation. David earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Columbia University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Tyler. Currently, they are a thoracic surgeon at Methodist Health System, where they continue to innovate and advance patient care while mentoring the next generation of surgeons.
