Gin Yu

Gin Yu, CPA has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. In 2019, they joined Methodist Health System as the Director of Hospital Finance. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2019, they worked at UT Southwestern Medical Center, starting as an Accountant II and later becoming a Sr. Accountant. In 2011, they gained experience as a Staff Auditor at Schnaufer&Walker, P.C. Gin Yu began their career in finance as a STUDENT at the University of Texas at Dallas from 2009 to 2010.

Gin Yu, CPA has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Accounting and Information Management from The University of Texas at Dallas, which was obtained from 2009 to 2010. They also have a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Bilingual Accounting (CGA) from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. In terms of certifications, Gin Yu has obtained the following: Certified Public Accountant from Texas State Board of Public Accountancy in 2012, Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) from Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) in 2020, and Certified Specialist Business Intelligence from HFMA in 2021. They are also pursuing certifications in Certified Revenue Cycle Representative Program (CRCR) and Certified Specialist Managed Care (CSMC) from HFMA.
