Jon Albrecht has extensive work experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. Jon served as the Vice President, Chief Pharmacy Officer at Methodist Health System from 2018 onwards. Prior to this, Jon worked as an IV Course Instructor at Trinu Healthcare in 2000. Jon also held the position of Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at Austin, College of Pharmacy starting from 1991. In addition, Jon worked as a Clinical Associate Professor at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center from 2013. Earlier in their career, they served as the Vice President Operations and Director of Pharmacy at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. Before that, Jon held the position of Associate Director of Pharmacy at Parkland Health & Hospital System for a significant period, where they managed inpatient pharmacy services and had a team of 160 employees. Jon also gained experience as a Specialty Resident in Nutrition Support at Rhode Island Hospital.
Jon Albrecht received their Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Auburn University from 1977 to 1982. From 2010 to 2012, they pursued their Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) degree at Walden University.
