Katherine Tang

Katherine Tang serves as the Director of Pastoral Care at Methodist Health System since October 2022, overseeing the Pastoral Care Department and its Clinical Pastoral Education program. Under Katherine Tang's leadership, current initiatives emphasize achieving a fully board-certified chaplaincy team, increasing business acumen, enhancing workplace violence prevention, and revamping the bio-ethics program. Previously, Katherine Tang held roles at Banner-University Medical Center Phoenix from March 2014 to October 2022, including Director of Spiritual Care, where responsibilities included supervising 30 staff members and overseeing a large volunteer program, while also demonstrating leadership during the Covid-19 pandemic. Earlier experiences include serving as a chaplain in various healthcare settings, with a focus on critical care and palliative medicine. Katherine Tang holds an MBA with a healthcare focus from Roseman University of Health Sciences and a Master of Divinity from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary.
