Laura Weber has a strong background in healthcare quality and safety, with extensive experience in leadership roles. Laura started their career in 1995 at Holy Cross Hospital, where they progressed from a staff operating room nurse to the role of Clinical Director and Strategic Quality Management Coach. In this position, they led the organizational culture transformation to continuous quality improvement and provided extensive training to board members, executive staff, and front-line staff. Laura also had operational responsibility for various departments.
After their time at Holy Cross Hospital, Laura worked as the Executive Director of Quality at Richardson Regional Medical Center from 2004 to 2007. Laura then joined HCA North Texas as Assistant Vice President from 2007 to 2010.
From 2010 to 2015, Laura worked at Texas Health Resources, first as the Director of Systems Design & Reengineering | Performance Improvement and then as the Senior Director of Quality Improvement, Patient Safety, and Risk. In these roles, they were responsible for advancing organizational performance and implementing patient safety practices across a large health care system.
In 2015, Laura joined USMD Health System as Vice President of Quality & Safety | Nursing. Laura held this position until 2017, when they transitioned to their current role as Vice President at Methodist Health System.
Laura Weber holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington. Laura also holds an MBA/HCM degree in Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix. In addition, Laura has obtained their CPHQ certification, which stands for Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality.
