Pamela McNutt has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Pamela started their career in 1979 as a Programmer Analyst at Whittaker Medicus and worked there until 1983. Following that, they joined Hermann Hospital as the Director of Information Systems in 1983 and held this position until 1993. In 1993, they joined Methodist Health System as the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Pamela leads a team of IT and Biomedical professionals to improve the quality and cost-effectiveness of care through the use of technology. At Methodist, they played a key role in selecting and implementing a new electronic medical record system in 2015.
Pamela McNutt earned a BBA degree in Marketing and Statistics with a specialization in Management Information Systems from The University of Texas at Austin from 1974 to 1978.
