Ray Vigil has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several organizations. Ray is currently the Vice President of Total Rewards at Methodist Health System, where they are responsible for overall leadership in compensation, employee benefits, health clinics, occupational health, wellness, and HRIS technology. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Human Resources Business Partners at Tenet Healthcare, overseeing HR operations, compensation, recruitment, and HR service delivery for Conifer Health Solutions. Before that, Ray worked as the Associate Vice President of Human Resources at The University of Texas at Arlington and as the Head of Compensation and HR Technology at Cook Children's Health Care System. Ray also served as the Chief of Staff and held various HR leadership roles at Baylor Scott & White Health, where they played a significant role in merger integration and HR due diligence. Ray's career began as a Senior Consultant at PwC.
Ray Vigil has completed coursework in Business of Healthcare & Private Equity, as well as Executive Compensation and Governance, at Wharton Executive Education. Ray holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management from New Mexico State University. Additionally, they have a Masters of Science degree in Finance from Texas A&M University-Commerce and a Master of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the same institution.
