Samir Nangia

Samir Nangia is a highly accomplished nephrologist with extensive experience in both clinical practice and medical education. As a Practicing Private Nephrologist and Partner at Dallas Renal Group since August 2012, Samir serves on the Board of Directors and plays a vital role as a Joint Venture Partner for 12 dialysis clinics, and Medical Director for FMC Inpatient Acute Dialysis in the DFW Mid-Cities Region. Additionally, Samir co-created and co-directs the Nephrology Business Leadership University program, focusing on leadership and business education for senior nephrology fellows. As an Assistant Professor at both TCU Medical School and the University of California, Samir mentors medical students and fellows in physician leadership and private practice. Samir also holds leadership positions as President Elect of the Medical Staff at Methodist Health System and as a board member for the Nephrology Specialty Board at the American Board of Internal Medicine. Other contributions include hosting a health radio show, instructing medical students, and holding a background in chemical engineering from ExxonMobil prior to pursuing a medical career.
