Brian Hu is currently the EMEA EB Product Lead, leading a talented team to develop market-leading propositions in the UK protection space through agile actuarial pricing. Previously, Brian served as the UK Head of Product at MetLife UK from 2020 to 2024, where they led the product team and received multiple awards for excellence. Brian also held roles at Alexander Forbes Financial Services (U) Ltd. as Head of Institutional Portfolios and Longevity Solutions from 2011 to 2013, and at MetLife from 2020 to 2024 in various actuarial positions across the EMEA region. Brian holds a BSc Honours in Actuarial Science from the University of the Witwatersrand and is pursuing a Master's degree in the same field at the same institution while also participating in a Career Accelerator Programme at the University of Cambridge focused on Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI.
