Jonathan Root

Jonathan Root has extensive experience in identity and access management, currently serving as AVP of Enterprise Identity & Access Management at MetLife since November 2014. Prior to this role, Jonathan held the position of Director of Identity & Access Management at GlaxoSmithKline from 2003 to November 2014 and was a Senior Project Manager at Alphanumeric Systems, Inc. from September 2001 to November 2014. Earlier in Jonathan's career, a role as Senior Systems Engineer was held at Inacom Information Systems from 1992 to 1996. Jonathan Root earned a degree from North Carolina State University between 1987 and 1992 and attended Millbrook Senior High School from 1983 to 1987.
