Ryan Powell

Ryan Powell is an accomplished Information Security Executive with extensive experience in leading security programs and teams across global organizations. Currently serving as the Global Head of Access, Data, and Cloud Security at MetLife since January 2014, Ryan oversees cybersecurity strategy and IT compliance for a vast network of users in 47 countries. Previously, Ryan held pivotal roles at Wells Fargo, including IAM and Data Security Manager and Access Management Lead, where significant improvements in identity and access management were achieved. Earlier career experiences include managing technology and security needs at Delta Funding and serving as a Systems Consultant for UNC General Administration. Ryan holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from Strayer University and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
