Tim Tyler

Tim Tyler is a Principal Engineer at MetLife, where they lead the Emerging Technologies innovation team, focusing on Open Source compliance and cloud enablement. Prior to this role, Tim served as a Senior Staff Engineer at Qualcomm, managing teams and developing frameworks for design management and Open Source compliance. Tim's career also includes experience as a Staff Engineer at Intersil and an Engineering Intern at Westinghouse Power Generation Unit. They hold a Master’s degree in Information Systems from Webster University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida. In addition to their professional pursuits, Tim is a skydiver, SCUBA diver, and foodie.
