Jason Wergin

Jason Wergin has over 15 years of experience in the software engineering industry, working for various companies in roles ranging from Senior Software Engineer to Lead Software Engineer and Software Architect. Jason started their career in 2004 at EBSCO Publishing and later went on to work at White Plume Technologies, Medseek, and JW Software, LLC. In 2011, they became Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at Nuyella before returning to a contract engineer role at Medseek. Jason continued to progress their career at High Cotton and then DST Health Solutions, and became a Senior Software Engineer at BLOX in 2021. Currently, they are working at Metrc as the Lead Software Engineer.

Jason Wergin received their bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Jacksonville State University in the years 1989 to 1994. Four years prior to that, they graduated from Saks High School in 1985. In 2011 until 2013, they pursued a Master of Science in Information Engineering and Management at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
