Rob Nathan

Rob Nathan is an experienced professional in community engagement and equity, currently serving as the Equity, Culture and Engagement Manager at Metro since November 2017, and previously held roles such as Senior Community Stewardship Planner. Nathan's background includes leadership positions at the Coalition of Communities of Color and the Northwest Earth Institute, where skills in project management, public speaking, and digital engagement were developed. Prior experience includes program management in waste minimization, community organizing, and sustainability practices at various organizations including Community Environmental Services and the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Policy and a Graduate Certificate in Sustainability, both from Portland State University, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy and Environmental Studies from Prescott College.
