Mark Imber

Mark Imber is an experienced environmental professional currently serving as the Manager of Environment and Communities at Metro Mining Ltd since August 2021. Prior to this role, Mark held key positions at CDM Smith as Managing Principal Environmental Services and Principal Environmental Scientist from 2015 to August 2021, and at Cokal as Manager of Environment, Communities and Approvals from February 2011 to January 2015. Mark’s experience also includes managerial roles at Waratah Coal and WorleyParsons, as well as workgroup management at HLA Envirosciences. Mark's career began in the Defence sector, where a variety of positions were held in the Defence Environmental Branch from 1987 to 2005. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Environmental Science from The Australian National University.
