Our company originated in 1988 with the purchase of a single six family apartment building in Hartford and has steadily grown to have personally owned over a million square feet of office, medical, retail, industrial and residential properties as well as several hundred apartment units.

In 1999 we began providing management and maintenance services for the Office of the Chief States Attorney after legislation had passed allowing the State of Connecticut to appoint a receiver to take over control and day to day responsibilities for properties plagued by crime due to landlord neglect or absenteeism. This was the start of Metro providing its services for properties owned by others which has grown to providing property management services to Condominium Associations, Financial Institutions, and Government Sponsored Entities such as Fannie Mae and HUD. We currently manage 9 associations containing more than 500 individual units.

The team at Metro Properties branched out and now has family owned affiliated companies that provide insurance, risk management, green energy solutions, recycling and waste management.
