Michael Krantz

Michael Krantz, PE, LEED AP-ND, is a Senior Manager of Transit Oriented Development at Metro Transit, a position held since 2015. They are passionate about urban development and transportation, focusing on creating vibrant and sustainable cities. Prior to this role, Michael worked as a TOD & Land Use Planner and has contributed to various projects, including the Southwest LRT corridor. They also held positions as a Research Assistant at the Minnesota Population Center and Los Alamos National Laboratory, and a Civil Engineer at Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. Michael earned a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
