Lucy Mapstone

Lucy Mapstone is an experienced entertainment editor with a strong background in managing and producing content for major media outlets. Currently serving as the Entertainment Editor at Metro.co.uk since April 2020, Lucy previously held the position of Deputy Entertainment Editor at Press Association from July 2016 to April 2020, overseeing the showbiz desk's digital and wire output. Lucy has also worked as the UK Assistant Showbusiness Editor at MailOnline and as an Editor for MSN Celebrity, where Lucy managed high-traffic entertainment sites. In addition to these roles, Lucy gained early experience as a copy editor/researcher intern at Wallpaper* and worked in retail at New Look. Lucy's education includes studies at the University for the Creative Arts from 2007 to 2009.
