Lars Winge is a seasoned communication professional with extensive experience in strategic communications across various sectors. Current roles at Metroselskabet & Hovedstadens Letbane include Strategisk kommunikationsrådgiver and teamleder for Presse & SoMe (kst.) og Intern Kommunikation since February 2022. Previously, Lars owned Winge Communication from January 2019 to November 2022 and served as a Digital Editor for the Danish Court Administration, managing multiple online platforms from April 2019 to January 2022. Additional experience includes leadership positions in internal communications and corporate social responsibility at a Danish railroad company from October 2013 to April 2019, as well as advisory roles at a Danish Tele Company and the Danish Broadcasting Corporation, where Lars managed teams and developed strategic internal communications. Lars began a career in communications at PostNord, Denmark, focusing on internal communication and public relations. Educational qualifications comprise a Master’s in computer-mediated communication and a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from Roskilde University, complemented by management education from DR.

In The Copenhagen Metro and Greater Copenhagen Light Rail we are 350 employees who solve a task of great importance: To deliver world-class metro and light rail, now and for the next generations. It is a task that obliges. Every week, more than 2 million passengers use the Copenhagen Metro, and the number is increasing day by day. Copenhagen currently has four metro lines. In 2024, we will open five new stations to Ny Ellebjerg (Copenhagen South), and we are planning a brand new fifth metro line to open in 2035. In addition, we are well underway with the construction of the capital's new light rail between Lyngby and Ishøj. The construction of both the current and future lines are projects of an international scale.
