Peter Gerard is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the film, technology, and video streaming sectors. As a consultant for Peter Gerard Consulting since 2017, Peter focuses on various aspects of film and video streaming, including OTT services. Currently serving as Head of Product at Adventr, Peter leads product management and engineering for interactive video solutions. In addition, Peter oversees digital products and technology at Metrograph, where successful launches in streaming services were achieved. Co-founder of the AI-driven travel app Welcome, Peter facilitated the company’s acquisition in 2023. Previous roles include Vice President at Vimeo, founder and CEO of Distrify, and producer/director at Accidental Media, demonstrating a strong background in product development, audience engagement, and creative direction. Peter holds a BA in Film & Photography from Edinburgh Napier University and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship from MIT Sloan School of Management.

Metrograph is an expanding film and entertainment company, based in NYC. We focus on curating the highest quality content in the world, bringing it to audiences via a shared community experience. Our first project is Metrograph NYC at 7 Ludlow St. opened 2016 in New York City (and reopening in October). Hailed as "the coolest new movie theater in the world" by GQ, Metrograph is home to New York's most exclusive premieres, screening over 800 different films per year, and is a favorite of the world's greatest filmmakers and actors who regularly appear in person to present their work and watch their peers' work. Metrograph NYC is also home to the Michelin Guide recommended Metrograph Commissary Restaurant, The Metrograph Bookstore, and The Metrograph Candy Store (described by The Financial Times as "a cross between a Swedish Candy Store and a Damien Hirst installation"). The company's growth includes Metrograph Digital, launched 2020, a rapidly growing membership/subscription film watching and editorial platform which will continue scaling up after the theater reopens in October, a film distribution division Metrograph Pictures, and new content creation initiatives.
